I have been working as a student assistant for TU/e’s Expertise Centre Dementia & Technology (ECDT) since the beginning of my Master’s. Their aim is to change how society approaches dementia by designing warm technologies for and with people with dementia [24].
I am responsible for their communication channels (website, newsletter, LinkedIn), and in September, I will start working there full time. I will be responsible for organizing and coordinating their presence at Dutch Design Week in collaboration with Alzheimer NL and the Sint Anna Hospital. While I have not prioritized the expertise area of Business & Entrepreneurship in my projects, I have developed competencies in this area through my student assistant role, and I will continue to grow in it after graduation.
